saw all the small girls doing modelling dressed in their best at one of their friend's b'day party at lake club, part of fun activities arranged by their parents... but seeing the girls trying to do catwalk, show the attitude n all, i was wondering, has fashion/modelling grabbed our minds so much that we start preparing the toddlers for it at this tender age g the toddlers for it at this tender age.

On Teachers Day

Reading so many posts people remembering their teachers n paying their gratitude, i also went down memory lane remembering so many teachers. I think can write a full story on them wid many sweet n some spicy memories. Shall try, i think.

Well for now this small gratitude -
Grateful to my teachers who were an inspiration n role models for me to become a teacher. I never ever thought that i'll become a teacher wid research, computers n management so much in my mind, but destiny had its own ways. Well now m thankful to my dear students who made it a loving experience with their love n regard.

With rainwashed lush green, shining plants n trees, greenery all around, filled to the brims with freshly cleaned waters.... Sukhna is a visual treat for strollers these days.

I Want To Break Free..!!!

when there wont be any pending work, no tension of doing this, doing that, lists, lists, n lists of works.... delayed works..........ufffffffffff........ I want to break free, I want to break free - from works.... wo din kabhi aaega kya....!!!

Floating on water (aka boating) must be a fun of its on kinda.... I don know why I never felt attracted to it... 8 years in Chandigarh, so regular to Sukhna, and never ever stepped on its waters ofcourse through a boat.

Deadlines are must for some people to get work done. I am no exception.

Its a day of celebration, celebration of freedom,,,, for a country that got freedom after hundreds of years, its also a day to remember and pay our homage to the martyrs who laid their lives for the freedom, and to those who are making it sure that we keep enjoying this freedom. What's this latest trend, I don't understand?? Every other new heroin is saying she lost 30 kgs for her role in so n so film... first Sonam Kapoor, now Sonakshi Sinha!!! i am thinking .. perhaps i too need a film to get rid of 15 kgs... hehehehehe....:D

Of all the Mango varieties, the one n ONLY I like is 'Langda',,,nd happy to know that the only mango ripened on the mango tree in our backyard also turned out to be of 'langda' Variety...wish lot n lot mangoes grow on its branches in coming years.

Honour Killings

The verdict in the Honour killings case is laudable. It'll help putting a restraint on the self proclaimed dictum of Khap Panchayats. But one issue still remains unsolved, shall marriages in same gotra be allowed ? That doesn't mean I support the killings in the name of honour anyhow. But then............ do we need to change the Social Norms !!!

Saw these street kids enjoying Pepsi in sec-17 plaza, don't know someone was compassionate enough to buy them a drink or they got left overs. But one thing which I noticed and was highly impressed to see that when finished drinking, they got up and threw their cans in bins; which most of us so called cultured and civilized beings don't at times.
